DriveTrail is an iPhone app that automatically records your driving routes using GPS, keeping your route, speed, distance, time, and photos together in one place. Your route is color-coded by speed range, and photos can be linked to the places where they were taken. You can also search for a destination, view every route you have driven on one map, check and save the weather, and add a note to each record. With replay playback and monthly graphs, DriveTrail makes it easy and enjoyable to look back on every drive in detail.

You can now change the map type on the trip recording screen, both before and during recording.
You can now manage maintenance information for each vehicle, including separate information for summer and winter tires and replacement dates for engine oil, cabin air filters, and batteries. DriveTrail automatically displays the elapsed days and distance since each replacement. This release also adds maintenance information to backup and restore and improves usability on vehicle information screens.

You can now recalculate the driving route shown by Destination Search whenever you need to search for the route again.
You can now search for a place or address and display a driving route from your current location, both before and during drive recording. Destination search history can be viewed, reused, deleted, backed up, and restored. We also added the Driven Routes Map, where every route you have recorded appears together on a single map; frequently traveled routes appear darker where drives overlap. This release also improves performance when displaying large amounts of route data. Please note that destination routes do not include voice guidance or turn-by-turn navigation.
You can now view the temperature, humidity, chance of precipitation, and wind speed around your current location while driving, along with the chance of rain or severe weather over the next three hours. The retrieved weather, address, time, and three-hour outlook can be saved with the driving record and reviewed later from its details screen. We also added free-form drive notes for trip impressions, stops, road conditions, fuel records, and more. This release also adjusts the map position around the weather display, limits repeated manual WeatherKit refreshes, and includes drive notes and weather data in backup and restore.
Live Activity distance and speed updates are now more stable while your iPhone is asleep during a drive. DriveTrail also optimizes route image updates on the Lock Screen, making driving information less likely to stop updating while recording.
Restoring a backup now adds the driving records, vehicles, photos, and related data from the backup while keeping your current data intact, instead of replacing it. If a vehicle with the same name, manufacturer, model, and year already exists, DriveTrail avoids creating a duplicate and automatically links the restored driving records to the existing vehicle.
The free version can save up to 10 driving records. DriveTrail Pro includes unlimited driving records, multiple vehicle registration, and GPX / KML / HTML / MP4 exports. Users who previously purchased the paid version can use Pro features at no additional cost.
