These Terms of Use (“Terms”) set forth the conditions for using the iOS app “Bokutabi” (“App”) provided by AI Vision Technology Ltd. (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Users of the App (“Users”) shall use the App after agreeing to these Terms.
Article 1. Application
These Terms apply to all relationships between the Company and Users regarding the use of the App.
In addition to these Terms, purchases, downloads, updates, refunds, and related procedures for the App are subject to the App Store terms and other applicable rules established by Apple Inc.
Article 2. Overview of the App
The App is designed for road trips and car-based travel. It helps Users create and manage travel plans by registering destinations, departure points, departure dates and times, stay durations, travel times, events, and related information.
The App may provide features such as checking travel times and distances between destinations based on car travel, displaying itinerary timelines, showing the current position within an itinerary based on the current time, plan review, PDF export, and sharing.
Article 3. User Environment
Users shall prepare, at their own responsibility and expense, the devices, operating system, network environment, Apple ID, App Store usage environment, and other items necessary to use the App.
Some features of the App may require permission to access location information, notifications, file storage, sharing functions, map display, and other device or OS features.
Article 4. Use of Location, Maps, and Route Information
The App may use iOS location services, Apple MapKit, and other OS or map-related functions to set departure points and destinations, use the current location, display maps, and check travel times and distances. If Users choose to open a route in Google Maps, Google Maps, a web browser, or another external service may be launched.
Routes, travel times, and distances displayed in the App are based on car travel. The App does not support route search, travel time calculation, or travel time aggregation for public transportation, walking, cycling, or other modes of transportation.
Location information, map information, route information, travel times, distances, estimated arrival times, and other information may differ from actual conditions due to GPS reception, device status, OS or map service specifications, road conditions, traffic conditions, weather, network environment, and other factors.
Therefore, the location information, travel times, distances, routes, estimated arrival times, and current position within an itinerary displayed in the App are provided as reference information to assist travel planning and are not guaranteed to be accurate.
Article 5. Creation and Management of Travel Plans
Users may create and manage travel plans, destinations, events, stay durations, notes, schedules, PDFs, and other data using the App.
Users shall confirm the contents of their travel plans, actual traffic conditions, facility opening hours, reservations, holidays, weather, road conditions, regulations, local conditions, and other relevant matters at their own responsibility before traveling.
The information displayed in the App does not guarantee the feasibility, safety, arrival time, availability of facilities, or successful execution of any travel plan.
Article 6. Data Storage
Travel plans, destinations, events, settings, PDFs, and other data created in the App are generally stored on the User’s device.
The App does not send or store travel plans, location information, destination information, schedule information, or similar data created by Users to the Company’s servers.
However, when Users use sharing, PDF export, backup, iCloud Drive, AirDrop, or sharing to other apps, data may be stored or shared outside the device through the User’s own operation.
Article 7. Data Management and Backup
Users are responsible for managing, storing, backing up, restoring, deleting, and transferring data created or stored in the App, including during device changes.
If a User loses, damages, initializes, or changes their device, or deletes the App, data stored in the App may be lost.
Because the App is designed to operate primarily on the User’s device and does not store data on the Company’s servers, the Company shall not be liable for loss, corruption, inability to restore, or failure to back up data stored on the User’s device, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence by the Company.
Article 8. PDF Export and Sharing
Users may export, save, or share travel plans and related data in PDF or other formats using the App’s features.
Exported or shared data may include travel dates, destinations, location information, notes, schedule details, and other information related to the User’s planned activities.
Users shall confirm the contents, recipients, publication scope, and storage destination of exported or shared data and use such features at their own responsibility.
Article 9. Use While Traveling or Driving
Drivers must not operate, stare at, or change settings in the App while driving a car, motorcycle, bicycle, or any other vehicle.
Drivers must operate the App only after stopping in a safe place.
Users shall comply with traffic laws and other applicable laws and prioritize safety at all times.
Article 10. Prohibited Acts
Users must not engage in any of the following acts when using the App:
1. Acts that violate laws, regulations, or public order and morals
2. Operating or looking continuously at the App while driving
3. Dangerous travel, unreasonable itineraries, illegal acts, nuisance acts, or any acts that may cause danger or disadvantage to third parties
4. Unauthorized modification, analysis, or reverse engineering of the App
5. Acts that interfere with the App or the Company’s operations
6. Acts that infringe the rights, privacy, reputation, or credibility of third parties
7. Any other acts that the Company deems inappropriate
Article 11. Intellectual Property Rights
Copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights related to the App, programs, designs, images, text, logos, and all other content included in the App belong to the Company or legitimate rights holders.
Users may use the App for personal travel planning or similar schedule organization purposes, but may not copy, modify, redistribute, sell, lend, or analyze the App itself.
Article 12. Changes, Suspension, and Termination of the App
The Company may change the contents, features, specifications, supported OS, delivery method, and other aspects of the App as necessary.
The Company may also suspend or terminate all or part of the App due to changes in OS specifications, App Store specifications, map service specifications, technical or operational reasons, or other unavoidable circumstances.
Article 13. Purchases and Refunds
The purchase price, payment method, billing process, refunds, and related procedures for the App shall follow the rules, terms, and procedures established by the App Store and Apple Inc.
The Company shall not be responsible for payment processing, refund decisions, account management, or other procedures handled by Apple Inc.
Article 14. Disclaimer of Warranty
The Company does not guarantee that the App will meet any particular purpose of the User, be accurate, complete, useful, continuous, free from defects, free from data loss, or operate properly on all devices or OS environments.
The App is intended to assist travel planning and does not guarantee traffic conditions, facility information, opening hours, reservation status, travel safety, successful movement according to schedule, arrival times, or similar matters.
Article 15. Damages and Limitation of Liability
Even if Users suffer damages due to using or being unable to use the App, the Company shall not be liable except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence by the Company.
Even where the Company is liable, such liability shall be limited to ordinary and direct damages. The Company shall not be liable for special damages, indirect damages, lost profits, lost travel opportunities, cancellation fees, transportation costs, accommodation costs, or damages related to data loss, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence by the Company.
If any provision of these Terms is invalidated or restricted by the Consumer Contract Act or other applicable laws, such laws shall prevail.
Article 16. Changes to these Terms
The Company may revise these Terms as necessary.
If these Terms are revised, the Company will publish the revised contents in the App, on the Company’s website, or by any other method deemed appropriate by the Company.
Unless otherwise specified by the Company, the revised Terms shall take effect when published on the Company’s website or other designated location.
Article 17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Japan.
If any dispute arises in relation to the App or these Terms, the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company shall be the exclusive court of first instance.
Article 18. Contact
The Company is responsible for maintenance, support, and inquiries regarding the App. Apple Inc. has no obligation to provide maintenance, support, or other services for the App.

Privacy Policy
AI Vision Technology Co., Ltd. (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) sets forth this Privacy Policy regarding the handling of user information in the iOS app “Bokutabi” (“App”) provided by the Company.
1. Information Used by the App
The App may use the following information to provide its features:
・Location information
・Departure points, destinations, stopovers, and other place information
・Travel dates, departure dates and times, stay durations, and event information
・Travel plan names, notes, and settings
・Travel plan data created by Users within the App
・Data created in connection with PDF export, sharing, backup, and related features
This information is used to provide features such as creating travel plans, displaying maps, checking travel times and distances, displaying itinerary timelines, showing the current position within an itinerary based on the current time, plan review, PDF export, sharing, and backup.
2. Storage Location of Information
Information created or recorded in the App is generally stored on the User’s device.
If the User uses backup, PDF export, sharing, iCloud Drive, or related features, data may be stored or shared outside the device through the User’s own operation. The Company does not access data stored in the User’s iCloud Drive.
3. Transmission to Company Servers
The App does not send travel plans, location information, destination information, schedule information, notes, PDFs, or similar data created by Users to the Company’s servers.
However, when Users use external services, OS functions, sharing functions, or the contact form, information may be handled according to the specifications of such external services or OS functions.
4. Provision to Third Parties
The Company does not provide travel plans, location information, destination information, schedule information, or similar data created or recorded in the App to third parties.
This does not apply where disclosure is required by law.
5. Use of External Services and OS Functions
The App may use iOS or external service functions such as map display, location acquisition, route and travel time calculation, notifications, file storage, PDF sharing, and saving to iCloud Drive.
When using these functions, the specifications, terms of use, and privacy policies of Apple Inc. or other external service providers may apply.
6. PDF Export and Sharing
The App allows Users to export travel plans in PDF or other formats and share them with other apps or services through their own operation.
Users are responsible for managing any data they export or share.
7. Analytics and Advertising
The App does not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or tracking SDKs.
8. Deletion of Data and Location Permission Settings
Users can delete saved travel plan data within the App. If the App is deleted from the device, data stored within the App on the device will also be deleted.
However, PDFs, shared data, backup files, data saved to iCloud Drive, and similar data exported or saved by the User must be managed and deleted by the User at the relevant storage location.
Location permission for the App can be changed at any time in the iOS Settings app.

Additional Fees

Payment Method
Payment shall be made using the payment method registered with the App Store.
Payment Timing
Payment is processed when the purchase procedure on the App Store is completed.
Delivery Timing
The App becomes available for download immediately after the purchase procedure on the App Store is completed.
Operating Environment
Compatible with iPhone / iPad. Please check the App Store product page for supported OS versions and other details.
Returns and Cancellations
Due to the nature of digital content, returns or cancellations for customer convenience after purchase are not accepted.
However, refund availability and procedures on the App Store shall follow Apple’s terms and procedures.
Defects
If there is a defect in the App, please contact us through the contact form above. We will review the issue and make reasonable efforts to fix or improve it where possible.
Special Conditions
There are no in-app purchases.
Some features may require permission to access location information, notifications, file storage, map display, iCloud Drive, and related functions.
Notes Regarding Features and Representations
The App’s features, displayed content, supported environments, and other specifications may change due to OS specification changes, App Store specification changes, map service specification changes, or other reasons.
